NiteRider Pro 1400 bike light

NiteRider has been making bright and sturdy bike lights since 1989, and this is their 1400 lumens Pro version. If you need long-lasting light, this would be the perfect choice since it uses a big battery pack that’s attached to the frame of the bike, with a cord leading to the light itself. The battery pack lasts 2 hours on the highest setting with 1400 lumens and around 32 hours on the lowest ones. Obviously the highest outputs are of the most importance, so at 850 lumens it lasts 3:45 hours, and 9:30 hours on 400 lumens. This should be sufficient for most night rides, alternative products can be found in our top 10 bike lights section. Video review and demonstration of the NiteRider bike light

If you want to see what the light looks light and get some more technical specifications, take a look at this video. Here you can also see what the battery pack the light runs on looks like, quite large in size, but that’s the price for a long-lasting light, oh, and close to 250 bucks. Recharging the battery takes 5 hours btw

NiteRider Pro summary with price and store page link

The main feature of this light is the runtime on the highest settings, as well as a high lumen output. Made out of durable material so it can handle rough rides in bumpy terrain, being dust and water-resistant makes it usable in any kind of weather and conditions. This bike light is made for mountain bikers in mind, if you are just looking for something for getting from A to B in the city, check out the bike lights category for cheaper alternatives, as this one probably would be an overkill.
